Zone Advanced Protection Systems Pty Limited is based in Castle Hill, just to the North West of the Sydney CBD. It is the wholly owned marketing, R&D and wholesale distribution subsidiary of it’s parent company.
Award Winning Technology – Patents over 30 countries
Since it’s foundation in 1986, Zone has held a long and proud history of delivering leading edge, Digital Video and Image products. Following the inception of Zones first product, Zone IDV, Zone has been granted patents in over 30 countries. Zone has also received many Industry and Government awards including the prestigious Australian Design Award.
World’s First
Zone released one of the world’s first Digital Video Recorders, Raptor, in 1999. Raptor formed a benchmark as a leading network based digital video recording and management system, and won the famed “Security Industry finest award” at an ASIS security exhibition in Las Vegas. Zone Raptor DVR Systems have been deployed through Australia, Asia, New Zealand and the United States.

Security Wholesalers
Not only does Zone continue to produce award winning security platforms developed from it's R&D department, it also imports and represents a number of highly regarded security manufacturers from across the world including exacqVision, ICX, Arecont, IQEYE, ACTi and IOIMAGE. Zone wholesales these products through locally appointed dealers and trade customers.
